Although our store maintains strict temperature and humidity controls, once your order is with our couriers, Royal Mail, it is subject to temperature fluctuations. Even if your area isn’t particularly hot, your delivery may pass through regions with higher temperatures.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for Royal Mail leaving your parcel in direct sunlight or heat, which could cause melted chocolates.

If you prefer to avoid this risk, please specify a preferred dispatch date in the note section at checkout, and we’ll dispatch your order accordingly.

Dispatching

To ensure your Leonidas chocolate shop order is dispatched on the same day, please place your order by 1 PM from Monday to Friday, and 10 AM on Saturdays.

Orders placed after these times will be processed and dispatched on the next business day.

Please note that orders placed on a Sunday or public holidays will be processed on the following business day.

Royal Mail Tracked Shipping

All UK deliveries are made by Royal Mail with the delivery time from 1 to 3 working days. At the time of dispatching your order, you will receive confirmation of order completion and tracking details.

If the recipient is not available to receive the delivery and there is no secure area to leave the item, the Royal Mail postman will follow these procedures:

1. Leaving a "Something for You" Card: The postman will leave a card at your address, informing you that a delivery attempt was made and providing instructions on how to collect your item or arrange for redelivery.

2. Redelivery Options: You can arrange for redelivery to the same address, a different address, or a local Post Office branch. Instructions for arranging redelivery will be detailed on the "Something for You" card.

3. Collection from Local Delivery Office: Alternatively, you can collect your item from the local Royal Mail Delivery Office. The address and opening hours of the Delivery Office will be specified on the card.

Same Day Delivery for Brighton and Hove Orders

For Leonidas chocolate shop Brighton & Hove deliveries; we collaborate with a local fast delivery courier service.

Monday to Friday; All orders received by midday within the Brighton & Hove area will be delivered on the same day by 7 pm or any desired further date.

Should you wish to collect your order from our Leonidas Belgian chocolate shop, which is only a 3-minute walk from the Brighton Train Station, on the second corner towards Brighton City Centre, your order will be ready to pick up 30 to 45 minutes after you place your order.
